Student assistants for Social Entrepreneurship Education Projects at Department of Management, Society and Communication at Copenhagen Business School

The Department of Management, Society and Communication at Copenhagen Business School is looking for student assistants with an interest in social entrepreneurship to contribute to various projects related to social entrepreneurship education.

As a student assistant, you will be affiliated with Kai Hockerts and Anne-Karen Hueske and become part of an international team of student assistants working on several social entrepreneurship projects.

This includes projects related to promoting social entrepreneurship education across the Aurora European universities and supporting students in developing social entrepreneurship competencies through a social business model competition, onboarding professors from various Aurora universities using the learning platform, and communication with CBS employees engaged in Aurora, planning and scheduling of meetings.

Student Positions

We are looking for several student assistants to support our work with seismic in the following areas:
  1. Seismic APP support for educators and students
  2. Recruitment of professors for seismic APP and seismic community (online research)
  3. Sponsorship and fundraising for seismic AWARDS
  4. Creation of a seismic spin-out organisation supported by the Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship (CSE)

Responsibilities and tasks:
  1. Onboarding educators and students for seismic APP use and maintenance of seismic APP and seismic EU webpage.
  2. Doing (online) research and contacting professors and educators to join the seismic community and activate current professors to engage within the seismic community.
  3. Finding a new sponsor for yearly seismic awards to fund the award’s prize for first and runner-up winners, and support seismic awards preparations.
  4. Close collaboration with CSE to create an independent spin-out of the seismic activities.

Requirements for experience/qualifications and personal skills

Required Skills and Attributes:
  1. Meticulous attention to detail.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills; sociable and enjoy collaboration.
  3. Demonstrating initiative in reaching out to educators and students.
  4. Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  5. Keen interest in working with international scholars.
  6. Well-organised and highly motivated individual.
  7. Interest in social entrepreneurship education development.
  8. Prior experience with LLMS and customised GPTs.

Salary and terms of employment

Employment takes place in accordance with the HK organisational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Publicly Employed Organisations (OAO-S Collective Agreement).

The salary currently ranges between DKK 141,14 and DKK 148,06 per hour and is dependent on previous employment in the office profession and level of education. The pension contribution amounts to 16% of the pensionable salary components.

It is a prerequisite for employment that you are an active student at a higher educational institution.
