Szpirt & Company is looking for ambitious interns who are passionate about working at the intersection of politics, business development, and communication. We off er an exciting internship focused on your professional development, where you will be given both responsibility and independence.

Taking on significant responsibility

As an intern at Szpirt & Company, you will play an important role in supporting your colleagues in developing public affairs and business development strategies, drafting political briefings, and arranging meetings with political decision-makers on behalf of our clients. You will work with strategic communication tasks, social media, and media monitoring. Throughout your internship, you can expect to be given substantial responsibility and the opportunity to lead projects. In close collaboration with our advisors, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality deliverables and strengthening relationships with our clients.

We imagine that you

• Are currently pursuing a relevant higher education degree in political science, social sciences, journalism, communication, business administration, or a related field.
• Are interested in addressing political challenges at the local, national, and global levels.
• Are comfortable navigating steep learning curves and quickly familiarizing yourself with new industries or business areas.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in both Danish and English.
• Understand how to structure a text that captures and maintains the reader’s attention.
• Work independently and in a structured manner, with a strong ability to manage your own tasks and deadlines.

Szpirt & Company is a consultancy specializing in combining public affairs, public relations, and business development to provide our clients with highly qualified advisory services and support in implementing strategies. You will be based at our office on Bredgade, where we work closely together in a professional environment with a strong focus on well-being as well as professional and personal development.

We are particularly active within life science, defense, and infrastructure, but our client portfolio is broadranging from some of Denmark’s largest companies to promising startups across various industries and countries. A significant share of our clients are global companies, giving you the opportunity to work on a wide range of diverse and challenging assignments.

Our goal is for you, as an intern, to develop new competencies aligned with your academic program and long-term career ambitions. We are, of course, flexible regarding your exams and other academic commitments. The internship is unpaid; however, Szpirt & Company is open to providing a monthly gratuity. If the internship progresses as expected, we can discuss the possibility of a permanent student position afterwards.

Application

We are seeking interns for the Fall Semester 2026 (August 2026 to December 2026), though we are flexible regarding the exact period. The application deadline is March 15, 2025 at 23:59, but interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. The initial round will consist of a personal interview where we get to know each other. If there is a good fit, there will be a second round in which you will be presented with a case assignment to solve and present at our office.
