We are looking for highly qualified Product Platform Managers for our Portfolio & Platform Engineering Management department in Offshore Engineering. You will be part of a dedicated team executing ownership of generic designs upon which we base our Offshore projects.
You will take ownership of product(s) out of our generic Offshore portfolio and ensure continuous improvement and evolvement hereof through close involvement in pre-sales, sales and project execution activities. You will be working with motivated colleagues and deliver results through providing strong portfolio management leadership to the organization
What are my responsibilities?
Responsible for dedicated product(s) to secure successful and timely generic product scoping, improvement and evolvement
Acquire, prioritize and scope product upgrades and improvements
Establish Platform Engineering roadmap in symbiosis with project portfolio and stakeholder feedbacks
Responsible for roadmap implementation budget
Secure progress of initiated roadmap activities and to ensure transparency to all downstream stakeholders
Responsible for close alignment and sales projects and Engineering Department on product introduction e.g. through product training/ -presentations and participation in sales due diligence programs
Monitor and suggest utilization of product synergies across pre-sales, sales projects and projects under execution.
Conduct commercial and technical Risk management for products within own responsibility
Support scoping and execution of measures to reach target product cost and target product availability
What do I need to qualify for this job?
You hold a M.Sc. in Engineering or similar relevant education preferably a commercial add-on
A minimum of 7 years experience within product development, engineering processes and/or management of projects with high degree of project specific engineering and preferably from the wind turbine or related business
You understand the full value chain from both technical, logistics and commercial point of views
Preferably, you have experience from R&D, Technical Sales, Portfolio Management, Technical project management or similar within the wind business
You have solid project management experience
You are capable of continuously maintaining a clear overview of progress on all activities in your roadmap. Furthermore you have hands-on and hold a clear view on downstream impact across the full project portfolio if the roadmap or schedules of implementation is changed
You have outstanding stakeholder managements skills, excellent communication and presentation skills and hold a strong customer mindset
You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing
