The Department of Business & Management (DBM) invites applications for one or more 3-year positions as PhD student at the department. The positions are vacant from 1 September 2022 or soon after. The positions are located in Odense, Slagelse (for the Management of People area) or Odense/Kolding (for the Accounting area), but teaching may be required across campuses.

Job description

The PhD positions are available within the research areas Accounting, Consumption, Culture & Commerce, Finance, Integrative Innovation Management, International Business & Entrepreneurship, Management of People and Strategic Organization Design. Please target your application to one of the research areas.

S/he will also be expected to participate in the various activities within the department and - apart from the stay abroad - to be present on a daily basis.

DBM works both quantitatively and qualitatively to build bridges between applied and fundamental research. The department houses seven vibrant research units (Accounting, Centre for Integrative Innovation Management, Consumption, Culture & Commerce, Finance, International Business & Entrepreneurship, Management of People, and Strategic Organization Design) whose work is anchored in an understanding of the cooperation between markets, organizations and individuals. It encompasses a variety of areas from evolutionary models of organization to accounting and finance, and to new exotic forms of consumption and seeks synergy between research, teaching and knowledge exchange.

See the Department website for more details.
